The pack covers three parts of a live set: signals that grab attention, transitions that move between sections, and short drum and bass hits for tempo repeats. Every pad is an individual effect you can shape and download.
Set up the moment
Rally Horn and Stadium Stab make short accents. Dub Siren and Rave Signal give you longer movement. Set the volume before bringing a sound into your mix.
Make a transition
Use Noise Lift to build tension, Tape Stop to slow a phrase to a halt, or Reverse Pull to pull back into the next section. Follow a build with Impact Tail or Sub Dive.
Work the repeat controls
Try Punch Kick on quarter notes, Tight Hat on eighth notes or Snare Crack on sixteenths. Change the BPM while it runs, move Pitch, then tap the pad again to end the repeat.
Vinyl gestures, moving filters and bass drops
Vinyl Chirp is a short scratch gesture. Crackle Cut adds a gritty interruption, while Falling Filter and Metal Sweep offer different ways to move the energy between sections. Leave room for the next part of your music to arrive.
Layering lets a repeating drum hit continue beneath another effect. Turn layering off to focus on one sound at a time. Repeat timing follows the BPM on this board; match outside music by ear. For a full pattern editor, open the ButtonBass drum machine.

Which DJ sound effects are included?
The pack includes horns and sirens, vinyl gestures, tape stops, moving textures, bass drops and percussion. Its 24 individual effects work as live accents or downloadable sounds for a mix.
How do the pitch controls work?
Move Pitch between minus 12 and plus 12 semitones. Zero is the original pitch. Pitch also changes playback speed, so lower sounds last longer and higher sounds finish sooner. WAV downloads use the pitch you select.
How do I repeat a sound to the beat?
Choose quarter, eighth or sixteenth notes in Repeat, set a BPM, then tap a pad. Tap it again to stop or press Stop all. Loop repeats a whole effect. The tempo follows this page and does not automatically sync to another music app.
Can I download the DJ effects for a mix or stream?
Yes. Each pad has a WAV download. The effects are original ButtonBass creations released under CC0 for use in mixes, streams, videos and other projects without attribution.
