Listen to the melody, then play it back on the piano. Each round adds a new note — how long can your memory hold the sequence? Free, no signup, plays in your browser with a global leaderboard.
Echo Keys is a free browser-based piano memory game inspired by classic Simon-style memory challenges. The game plays a sequence of piano notes, then waits for you to repeat them on the on-screen keyboard. Every successful round adds one more note to the sequence, gradually pushing your memory and timing further. Compete on the global leaderboard with daily, weekly, and all-time rankings.
The game runs entirely in your browser with no signup required. Use your mouse, touch screen, or keyboard letters mapped to each piano key. Authentic piano samples deliver realistic sound for every note.
Press Start and listen carefully. The game plays a short piano melody, lighting up each key as it plays. When the sequence finishes, repeat it back by clicking the keys in the same order. Get it right and the game adds one more note to the sequence. Get it wrong and your run ends — submit your initials to the leaderboard if you scored high enough.
You can play with the mouse, but keyboard play is faster once you learn the layout. White keys are mapped to Z X C V B N M A S D F G H J (C4 through B5). Black keys are Q W E R T Y U I O P. The key letters are shown directly on each piano key so you don't have to memorize them.
Memory games reward focus over speed. Watch the keys, hum the melody mentally as it plays, and try to feel the pattern in your fingers before you start replaying. Don't rush the playback — the game waits as long as you need. Patterns repeat: when sequences get long, look for melodic shapes (steps, leaps, repeated notes) instead of trying to memorize every individual note.
Top scores post to a global leaderboard with three views: Today, This Week, and All Time. After a game over, you can submit your initials and choose an icon to represent your run. Beating your daily best is the most achievable goal — from there, push for weekly, then chase the all-time leaders.
