A drill beat maker with a new dimension.

Build beats in the cube

Every exterior mini-cube is a synchronized stem loop. Tap several cubes to stack drums, bass, music and vocals; active cubes light up and pulse with the beat. Drag or fling the full cube to reach every sound.

Shape the bounce

Start at the native 142 BPM grid or change the transport speed. Clean 16-bar rap phrases wait for the next 4-bar boundary, so the voice lands on beat.

Mix while you create

Each layer has its own level, sound control, position, effects, beat chop, mute and solo. Auto Move sends the channels through an evolving soundscape, while Master drive and the space bus add pressure and depth.

Share the exact mix

The Share mix button puts the whole beat into a short link — active loops, tempo, key and mixer settings included. Explore more free tools on ButtonBass, including the Hip Hop Cube and 8-Bit Beat Maker.

Drill Beat Maker questions

Is this drill beat maker free?

Yes — every loop, rap, mixer channel and effect is free. There is nothing to download, no sign-up and no payment. The whole studio runs in the browser on the Web Audio API.

How many drill loops are included?

56 synchronized stem loops: 14 drums, 14 bass, 14 music and 14 vocals, mapped across the exterior of a 4×4×4 cube — plus twenty-one clean rap verses on their own voice channel.

Do the loops stay in time?

Always. Every loop is the same length and shares one clock at 142 BPM, so any combination locks together. Rap phrases wait for the next 4-bar boundary, so the vocal never lands off the grid.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Tap cubes to stack loops, drag or fling the cube to spin it, and use the fullscreen button to fill the screen with just the cube. Any modern mobile browser with Web Audio support will run it.

Can I share the beat I made?

Hit Share mix and the whole beat — active loops, tempo, key and every mixer setting — becomes a short link. Anyone who opens it hears the exact same mix.

What else can I make on ButtonBass?

Plenty: cube mixers for house, techno and 8-bit, the Trap Maker and Phonk Maker, virtual pianos and guitars, a recording studio, and rhythm games — all free.
