Live controls

The voices are the actual ButtonBass Vox synthesis engine running live in your browser — every note is generated, not sampled. Chops follow the chord progression; pads hold the harmony underneath.

ButtonBass VOX — Online Vocal Synthesizer & Beat Maker

VOX is a free online vocal synthesizer and beat maker that runs entirely in your browser — no download, no signup. Pick a genre beat, hit play, and shape a full arrangement of synthesized singing voices in real time. Every voice you hear is generated live with the Web Audio API using a glottal-source and formant vocal model, so nothing is sampled and no two takes are ever quite the same.

Because the chops, harmony pads and lead all share one key, scale and clock, any combination sounds musical — you get the arrangement of a produced track without needing music theory. Change the mood dial from minor to dorian to major and the whole stack re-pitches instantly, with no dropouts.

How to Use VOX

1. Choose a beat. Tap any of the ten genre beats — House, Trap, Techno, Lo-Fi, Boom Bap, Drum & Bass, UK Garage, Ambient, Reggaeton or Afrobeats. Each sets the tempo and drum feel and drops the voices into a matching rhythmic pocket.

2. Hit play and shape the voices. Use the live performance controls to switch vocal chopping patterns (stabs, stutters, triplets, reverse swells, gated arps, octave jumps), turn the soprano lead on, and dial in harmony pads underneath. Choose a vowel (ah, eh, ee, oh, oo), set the key & mood, and push the formant shift for a deep club vocal or a bright hardcore lift.

3. Perform the arrangement. Turn on a one-button arrangement like Aria Dance for an automatic build → drop → breath cycle, add a trance gate for build-up energy, switch the space to Cathedral, and enable the key journey for an endless-rise key lift. Then ride the tempo and level faders live.

The voices are fully synthesized

VOX is the actual ButtonBass Vox synthesis engine running in your browser. The vocal chops follow the chord progression, the pads hold the harmony underneath, and the soprano lead sings over the top — all from a real-time model of the human voice rather than recorded samples. That means the instrument stays tiny, loads fast, and can re-pitch every layer the instant you change key or mood.
